Our Services
Nadmed Assistance is trusted by TPAs, insurers, and global assistance organizations for our ability to coordinate complex international medical cases with responsiveness, precision, and regional expertise. Available 24/7, our team supports every stage of the case lifecycle through daily case management, physician-to-physician coordination, transport logistics, multilingual communication, medical reporting, and regional provider network support across Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Cost Containment

Proactive Daily Bill Review
-
We review itemized hospital bills on a daily basis to ensure accuracy from the start—not just at the end of the case. This allows us to identify duplicate charges, inconsistencies, and billing errors early, preventing unnecessary costs from accumulating.

Pre-GOP Cost Validation
-
We do not issue or support Guarantees of Payment (GOPs) until all charges have been reviewed and validated. By ensuring pricing is appropriate before approval, we protect insurers and TPAs from overcommitting to inflated or unclear costs.

Prevention of Excessive Billing
-
Our team actively monitors hospital billing practices throughout the case to detect and stop excessive or unjustified charges. We challenge discrepancies in real time and work directly with providers to ensure all billing aligns with the actual care delivered.
Final Billing Reconciliation
Nadmed Assistance works directly with hospitals and providers to reconcile final invoices, validate negotiated pricing, confirm applicable discounts, and ensure billing accuracy prior to financial case closure. Our team delivers transparent reporting and finalized EOP documentation to support insurer and TPA workflows.

Negotiation & Network Leverage
-
Through our strong provider relationships and regional network, we negotiate fair pricing and apply contracted discounts whenever available. This ensures cost efficiency while maintaining access to high-quality care.

Transport & Logistics
Regional Transport Coordination
Nadmed Assistance can coordinate ground and air medical transport, lateral transfers, higher-level facility placement, and regional logistics support across Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Through our established provider network, we assist with ambulance coordination, bed-finding, repatriation logistics, and physician house-call arrangements when requested by our clients.
Ground & Air Ambulance Support
Nadmed Assistance can coordinate BLS, ALS, and critical care ground ambulance services for local transfers, interfacility movements, airport transfers, and long-distance transport assignments throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. When requested by our clients, we also assist with worldwide fixed-wing air ambulance coordination, commercial medical escorts, and repatriation logistics for time-sensitive assignments.
Through our established provider network, we work with carefully selected and trusted transport providers to help ensure reliable service, operational efficiency, and appropriate levels of care. Our longstanding relationships also allow us to access preferred regional pricing and negotiated transport rates with select providers whenever available.
Lateral Transfers & Facility Placement
When patients require a higher level of care or specialized treatment, Nadmed Assistance assists with facility placement coordination and lateral transfer logistics throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. If our coordinators identify that a patient may not be receiving care at the most appropriate facility, we immediately communicate our concerns to the client and assist with evaluating transfer options and alternative receiving facilities when requested.
Physician House Calls
When requested by our clients, Nadmed Assistance can coordinate physician house calls and mobile medical visits through our regional provider network across select locations in Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. These services may assist patients who require medical evaluation, follow-up care, or physician support outside of a hospital setting.

Bed Finding & Facility Placement
Rapid Bed Finding Coordination
Nadmed Assistance specializes in rapid bed-finding and receiving facility coordination for patients returning to the United States and Canada. Our team works directly with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities, and specialty providers to help secure appropriate placement as quickly as possible.
Medical Coordination Support
Our bed-finding process is supported by experienced medical coordinators, physician support, and multilingual communication capabilities. Because we can translate medical records, coordinate doctor-to-doctor discussions, and provide real-time interpretation support when necessary, we are often able to streamline facility review and placement decisions more efficiently.
Higher-Level Care & Lateral Transfers
When patients require a higher level of care or transfer from an inappropriate treating facility, Nadmed Assistance assists with evaluating alternative placement options and coordinating lateral transfers throughout Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean to help support continuity and appropriate care coordination.

Nadmed Assistance maintains physicians on call who can assist when physician-level coordination or medical oversight is requested by the client during active assignments across Mexico, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Our physicians support doctor-to-doctor communication in situations involving language barriers, complex coordination discussions, or when insurers and TPAs request additional medical input.
Our medical team can assist with medical record review, clinical updates, treatment clarification, and coordination discussions with treating facilities throughout the region. During billing review and cost containment processes, our Medical Director may also review medical documentation and treatment progression to help identify discrepancies, unnecessary services, or billing concerns that may require further clarification with the provider.
